Speaker: Kenna Barrett, PhD, Director, Development & APMA Educational Foundation

Kenna Barrett is Director, Development & APMA Educational Foundation at the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and a member of the AFG Board of Directors. Dr. Barrett is an accomplished fundraising leader in central university, professional school, and NGO environments. She teaches fundraising and writes on developing your personal style as a fundraiser, career transitions, social justice, and more. Among her areas of professional expertise include closing seven- and eight-figure gifts; building major gift and annual fund programs; partnering with academic leadership on ambitious goals; devising corporate and foundation strategy; and managing projects across functional units and multiple physical campuses.

Moderator: Sara Stickler, CAE, President & CEO, WTS International and WTF Foundation

Sara is a member of the AFG Board of Directors and President & CEO of WTS International. She works to set and execute WTS International’s organizational strategic priorities, as well as the WTS Foundation mission of supporting the next generation of transportation professionals and advancing the principles of WTS. Prior to joining WTS, Sara was the Executive Director of the Alliance for Consumer Education (ACE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation of the Household and Commercial Products Association (HCPA), where she advanced consumer knowledge on the correct use, storage and disposal of household and commercial products. Ms. Stickler previously served on the National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) Board and chaired their Communications Committee. She is also a member of Chief, a private membership network focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders.
